This is an interesting one. We were working slowly but surely on Persephone and were not opposed to a little financial help.
And I met this dude who had this house on the corner of a street in Osaka where I got lost, the Michikusa Apartments.
A place where people live and run their little underground shops: curry, clothes, tattoos and others. Nothing frightening, but 100% underground. (the map if you are interested)

From that point, we talked about this man’s next movie, creating different things, always with an underground taste, and he wanted a game to promote his movie.

So here we are, talking about our death system and how it could be a trippy dream of the main character. And Niwatori: The Trap City project began!
